Our esteemed partners at Gloveworx extended an invitation for an exclusive boxing training session at their studio. Eager to embrace a new challenge, we embarked on a road trip to Santa Monica, where we geared up in our gym attire and had our hands wrapped. Coaches Antonio, Dustin, Steve, and Karl guided us through an intense series of cardio workouts that left us feeling exhilarated, exhausted, and drenched in sweat.
Throughout the eight-round workout, we rotated between refining our boxing techniques in the ring—keeping our feet slightly forward, utilizing our weight for movement, and maintaining a firm grip on our hands—and pushing our personal limits with rigorous cardio exercises. The Gloveworx instructors ensured the workout remained dynamic and unforeseen: from intense interval training on stationary bikes to perfecting uppercuts, and finally, maintaining a plank position during controlled push-ups.
Regardless of our initial fitness levels or experience, our team workout at Gloveworx proved to be a true test of our capabilities, leaving us feeling stronger and more determined. Naturally, we were all sore for several days following the workout.
