What We Expect from You:
– Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
– In-depth knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges
– Experience with media queries
– Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Twitter’s Bootstrap
– Multi-tasking ability across various projects and tasks
– Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
– A positive, can-do attitude with a quick learning curve
– Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX (preferred)
– Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify (preferred)
– Excellent English communication skills
– A dependable home office setup with a high-speed computer, microphone, and speakers for calls, reliable internet, and power (maximum of 1 hour of outage per month)
– Availability to work during hours similar to the Coalition Team (9am-6pm PST)
– A passion for building startups
Key Responsibilities:
– Converting complex layout PSDs into precise presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
– Designing responsive website layouts
– Developing websites on WordPress, including plugin and theme extension and development
– Creating web-optimized images using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks
– Utilizing version control systems such as GIT / SVN
– Adapting to tight deadlines
– Multitasking on several projects simultaneously
– Delivering high-quality work with a keen focus on detail
